Travel has been a life long passion, I don't need to go far, I just have the urge to go. To explore the unknown to me, to dig into the history of a place, or a person, and learn how they came to be the way they are. 

​

Scotland has been the top destination on my travel list for as long as I can remember, years before I learned how deep my families roots were in Scottish soil and long before "bucket lists" existed.

 

 If I had lived 400 years ago I would have lived in the Borderlands and spent my time terrorizing the English with my Mom's ancestors, the Armstrongs or possibly living in the Highlands with the McIains, the bloodline of my Dad's ancestors, fighting with Vikings and Campbells. 

 

Though my parents are no longer alive they travel with me in spirit where ever I go.
